This is a 'webapp' made from WordPress. Regional Seguros is an insurance company in my city and their IT manager is a friend of mine. So he approached for an Intranet website where they could place all their internal communication scheme: memos, private messaging between users, a public chatroom, a place where users could download common files (like contracts, forms, and operation manuals), an event calendar that could throw alerts, a birthday reminder, and some way to extract the resolutions from the Paraguayan Central Bank and display it all within the website, with the ability to search and crawl inside that list.
Since I didn't want to start the project from scratch, and I was very into WordPress in that moment I decided to build it from there, and whatever plugin that I could use to replicate his petitions.
So, I started from scratch registering some custom posts for certain task, and customize them to just the exact amount of inputs I needed for each one of them. Then I looked around the WordPress plugins' repository to find some which could ease the task. Since most of them did it partially I had to modify most of them, enhancing their looks to flow visually with my design.
Users can interact with most of the website in the frontend. And make comments on every item of the website, turning it into a very collaborative tool.
