ProSoil
This is an agricultural company that dedicates to sell biological agents (mostly bacteria) to make crops grow, in simple words. Since one of the owners was a high school friend, he approached me to develop a webapp that all his employees could use to ease the administration of the company.
I went ahead with a simple Products, Clients, Sales, Financial Movements, Billing managers that could handle it. And they also made their specific needs acknowledged.
They needed to store their customers orders into the database, and move them directly to the billing area when the sale was going to finish. Also they needed to make the order process work offline, in case the signal was weak where they pick it up. So I did it.
There's also a credit note generator, a remission generator and manager, a credit manager, that allows them to track the customers payments in case the sale was fragmented into several payments, and a receipt generator for every payment. There's also a promissory note generator for every payment generated.
The design is plain simple for a webapp, where you need all the modules in hand. And the dashboard displays the most global and immediate numbers, and a chatbox for the users.
Reports to know the status and achieved goals of every salesman were also developed, allowing the directors to follow the salesforce very depth in detail.
