This was an exposition where I volunteered not just with the website but the organization as well. With a bunch of friends I participated on a conference called CODE, at our country's capital city. There I introduced eMaître for the first time. And the following year, since the CODE was a one-timer, we decided to do the very same event in our city, but with a different name. So I teamed up with a bunch of other entrepreneurs that also had some products and services to showcase in the IT area, and Encarnación Expone was born.
This was a simple design that wanted to attract audience to the event. And also give it a futuristic approach with the elements we wanted to showcase: tech, innovation, IT, communications, the web, and the 'go beyond' concept. In the main background there's a blurred picture of the International 'San Roque González' Bridge, which is one of the most prominent symbols of Encarnación.
The auditorium was full. We had some media attention and some of the projects got funded by some investors that showed up. I think it was a success. But the enthusiasm didn't replicate the following years so the event didn't happen again ever since. Some of the organizational team also went ahead into their own projects. Some also applied for scholarships abroad, so that team disintegrated quickly too. But we're still in touch, and mostly still friends.
